About the Role
As a Principal Billing & Telemetry Engineer, you will be responsible for developing telemetry collection systems and billing calculation engines, troubleshooting existing systems, and collaborating with various teams to enhance billing standards and telemetry frameworks. Your role will involve planning and implementing modifications in a critical environment, educating personnel, and optimizing billing algorithms to improve accuracy and reduce disputes.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Billing Systems, Telemetry, or Data Analytics.
- Knowledge of billing systems in a critical environment.
- Knowledge of Ignition (by Inductive Automation) software platform.
- Advanced knowledge of programming including PLC ladder logic, SQL, and Python.
Preferred:
- Data Center experience.
- Advanced knowledge of MQTT.
- Experience with machine learning for anomaly detection.
