Infosys Consulting is seeking a Principal, Business Consulting - Payments Modernization to lead a strategic initiative focused on High-Value Payments for a Tier-1 financial institution in New York, NY.
About the Role
As a Principal, Business Consulting - Payments Modernization, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Payments Modernization program, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include driving the replacement of legacy platforms with a compliant COTS solution, architecting a rail-agnostic payment capability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing program governance, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of experience in payments domain, with at least 5 years in program management roles.
- Strong understanding of High-Value Payments, ISO 20022, SWIFT, Fedwire, and CHIPS.
- Experience with COTS product implementations in financial services.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation programs in complex environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with rail-agnostic architecture principles and modern payment ecosystems.
Preferred:
- Experience working with North American banks or securities firms.
- Exposure to cloud-native payment platforms and API-led modernization.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.
