About the Role
As a Principal Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for defining cloud network strategies, leading architecture design, and ensuring the successful deployment of cloud networking solutions. You will assess current network architectures, align strategies with business objectives, and present architectural recommendations to executive leadership. Your role will also involve driving customer feedback into product engineering teams and delivering presentations showcasing DISH Wireless' cloud journey.
About You
Required:
- Master’s or PhD in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electrical, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience architecting transport networks within a cloud-native service provider infrastructure.
Preferred:
- Cloud certifications (e.g., CCIE SP, Cloud Architect, AWS, GCP, or equivalent industry certifications).
- Deep knowledge of DISH's cloud-native open network and how to leverage it for business value.
