About the Role
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will act as a senior technical consultant or project leader, liaising with other departments and providing functional management for the electrical engineering group. Your responsibilities will include directing hardware development, evaluating vendor capabilities, reviewing project progress, and estimating costs and schedules. You will also be involved in system architectural design, technical issue resolution, and maintaining awareness of advancements in electrical engineering.
About You
Required:
- Four-year college degree in electronic engineering or science discipline plus a minimum of twelve years experience; or an applicable Masters of Science degree and ten years of related experience.
- Experience in hardware development/engineering and successful strategy development.
- Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and with various stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of customer needs and competing products.
- Ability to solve complex engineering problems.
- Experience with project deadlines and cost constraints.
