About the Role
As a Principal Front-Office Engineer, you will partner with portfolio analysts and traders to build robust systems and tools that support investment decisions. You will be responsible for driving the technical direction of small-scale applications and proof of concepts, ensuring they are delivered efficiently. This position is ideal for a Lead or Senior Engineer who prefers to remain an individual contributor rather than moving into management.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience in full-stack development with a strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience with key Python libraries such as pandas and NumPy.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with financial data platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Preferred:
- Experience in front-end development and UX design.
- Familiarity with Pythonic front-end and data visualization libraries like Plotly and Dash.
- Experience with statistical and time-series data analysis using libraries such as Scikit-Learn and SciPy.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and willingness to learn about Private Equity and Private Credit.
