The Knot Worldwide is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Cart, Checkout, and Payments to define and own the future of e-commerce. This strategic role focuses on the cart and payments platform that powers their entire business.
About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company's core payments strategy, managing the full stack from payment processing to fraud prevention. You will define the strategic vision for the checkout and cart experience, optimize the product lifecycle for complex scenarios, and drive outcome-focused execution. You will also collaborate with design and user research to prototype and launch new checkout experiences, and serve as the principal product liaison with Finance, Legal, and Security.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years in product management with a track record of driving complex, high-impact initiatives.
- Subject matter expertise in e-commerce with a focus on cart, checkout, and payment systems.
- Ability to set a strategic direction and help ideate and launch new products and experiences.
- Experience with analytics and research tools, and comfort with analytical tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in cash gifting scenarios.
- Well-developed executive communication and presence.
- Keen aesthetics and empathy, with a user-centered mentality.
