About the Role
As a Principal Product Manager, you will build and operate foundational systems ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and settlement of every dollar moving through SoFi. You will partner with Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and Product teams to deliver reliable, auditable, and scalable financial infrastructure that supports all money movement across the company. Key responsibilities include owning the strategy and roadmap for core financial infrastructure, modernizing legacy processes into automated systems, defining transaction models, and supporting multi-currency and cross-border flows.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, finance, or quantitative field.
- 8+ years of product management experience, ideally with consumer fintech or personal finance products.
- Deep domain knowledge of accounting, general ledger, subledger, financial data management, and reconciliation.
Preferred:
- Experience with banking core architecture, payment orchestration, and multi-currency accounting.
- Experience with accounting systems such as Oracle, Workday, or SAP.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale migrations or re-platforming efforts.
