Appian is seeking a Principal Security Analyst (Top Secret) to join their team in McLean, VA. The role involves advising federal customers on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure Appian-based solutions.
About the Role
As a Principal Security Analyst, you will lead the implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, manage Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages, and design secure solutions using cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure. You will also mentor junior analysts and collaborate with federal customers to ensure compliance with security standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Government Clearance (Top Secret and above) without limitations.
- 5+ years of experience in a security-focused IT role with a strong understanding of GRC principles.
- Experience with NIST RMF and ATO processes.
- Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Preferred:
- Ability to maintain an Active TS:SCI Clearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
