About the Role
As a Principal Specialist, Contracts, you will be responsible for managing contracts of significant scope and complexity, representing Raytheon in contractual transactions, and maintaining business relationships with customers. Your duties will include analyzing Requests for Proposal (RFP), developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and resolving contractual issues as they arise. You will also provide guidance on contractual rights and obligations and may require some travel up to 15%.
About You
Required:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts administration/management including proposals and terms and conditions.
- Experience in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
Preferred:
- Strong partnering and collaboration skills in a teaming environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers.
- Business acumen with financial understanding of the business.
- Ability to think strategically and resolve issues as they arise.
