As a Prior Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for managing prior authorization requests, scheduling appointments, and discussing pre-collections with patients. About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in managed care or medical office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and online portals.
- Knowledge of Managed Care contracts/plans and medical terminology.
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in a medical practice interacting with patients.
- Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Attention to detail.
