About the Role
As a Privacy Engineer Retail, VP, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy laws, conducting privacy risk assessments, and providing guidance on privacy-related matters. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in product development, IT, legal, and cyber security to embed Privacy by Design principles, manage user consent systems, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, information systems, or computer science.
- 8+ years of privacy, data protection, audit or risk experience in a retail financial services organization.
- Understanding of global data privacy regulations, including GDPR and GLBA.
Preferred:
- Experience working cross-functionally on enterprise-wide programs.
- CIPP/US, CIPT, CDPSE, CISA, or other relevant privacy/IT audit certifications.
