About the Role
As a Private Duty Nurse, you will evaluate and treat clients under the supervision of an RN, assist with continuity of care, manage client services, and ensure proper documentation and communication. You will work with clients who have complex medical needs, including those requiring tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and nutritional feeds through G-tubes. The position requires building relationships with clients and their families to promote compliance with care plans and safety.
About You
Required:
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina.
- CPR Certification.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred:
- Customer service orientation and ability to liaise with clients and families.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in working independently and utilizing computerized systems.
