Summary
Silverado is seeking a PRN Caregiver to join their team in Frederick, MD. The role involves providing compassionate care and support to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions.
About the Role
As a PRN Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining. You will build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, support residents in a safe and engaging environment, and maintain accurate care records while reporting any changes to the nursing team.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
- Ability to perform active roles including walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.
- Comfortable working around animals and pets.
