Marathon Health is seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to join their team in Carmel, IN. The role involves delivering excellent patient care and providing an exceptional guest experience as part of a primary care team.
About the Role
As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will work closely with a primary care physician, overseeing the full spectrum of the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include escorting patients, taking vitals, performing blood draws, administering medications, and handling front desk duties such as patient scheduling and documentation. You will also collaborate with the care team to develop individual patient care plans and maintain clinical supplies.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
- Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
Preferred:
- National or state-specific MA certification or registration.
- Phlebotomy experience.
