About the Role
As a PRN Medical Assistant, you will support the physician in both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include interviewing patients, recording assessments in Electronic Medical Records, performing venipuncture and basic lab tests, assisting with medical procedures, and maintaining patient flow. You will also coordinate specialist visits and ensure a positive experience for each patient.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma required plus graduation from a formal training program.
- 2+ years’ experience preferred as an LPN, ideally in primary care.
- Current BLS certification and nursing license to practice in the state.
Preferred:
- Exceptional phlebotomy skills.
- Ability to give injections and complete EKGs.
