About the Role
As a PRN Physical Therapist, you will implement evaluations and treatments for patients, provide education to patients and families, and consult with healthcare personnel. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' physical and functional status, establishing therapy goals, formulating treatment plans, and documenting patient progress. You will also participate in discharge planning and maintain records of treatments performed.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and physical therapy treatment and modalities.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Preferred:
- Experience in evaluating patients' physical and functional status.
- Ability to react quickly in sudden unplanned situations to prevent or minimize injuries.
