About the Role
As a PRN Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for performing x-ray exams, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures, preparing patients for exams, obtaining and recording vital signs, and ensuring the technical quality of images. You will also enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and may assist with patient registration tasks. The position requires taking emergency calls and may involve working weekends and floating to other locations as needed.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
- Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
- Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
- Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients.
