About the Role
As an RN Specialist, you will evaluate patients' clinical status, provide recommended rehab services, educate patients and families about cardiopulmonary diseases, participate in case management, document patient progress, develop rehabilitative goals, and assist in coordinating patient care. You will also support community wellness programs and serve as a preceptor for university students.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related health field OR a Master’s Degree
- Current state licensure in Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Two years of nursing experience in coronary care, critical care and/or med/surg
Preferred:
- One year of cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Knowledge of exercise physiology
