About the Role
As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide coordinated and comprehensive patient care, including assessment, rehabilitation interventions, and evaluation within an interdisciplinary team approach. You will evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic needs, develop and implement treatment programs, and document all treatments according to department policies. Additionally, you may supervise graduate assistants and participate in performance improvement programs.
About You
Required:
- Current or temporary speech pathologist licensure in the applicable state.
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology or must obtain within 48 months of hire.
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Experience in providing speech-language therapy in a clinical setting.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
