Indorama Ventures: Indovinya is seeking a Process Control Engineer to join their team in Lake Charles, LA. The role involves developing and providing expertise in process controls to improve plant performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
About the Role
As a Process Control Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining control narratives, coordinating with APC engineers, implementing solutions for plant performance, participating in Six Sigma teams, and ensuring compliance with alarm system management policies. You will also participate in safety activities and develop process control design packages for improvement projects.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or electrical engineering, or other technical discipline with Process Control application experience.
- 3-15 years of experience in process engineering, process controls, or closely related activities.
Preferred:
- Experience with controls in a continuous petrochemical process, preferably with an Olefins process.
- Experience with configuration in a distributed control system environment, familiarity with ABB DCS is a plus.
- Aptitude with computerized applications.
