Summary
Blommer Chocolate Company is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team in East Greenville, PA. The role involves improving the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes in the food production industry.
About the Role
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies and waste in manufacturing processes, monitoring equipment performance, and analyzing process metrics. You will create and maintain various engineering diagrams and documents, troubleshoot processing and equipment failures, and implement process improvements. Your role will also involve collaborating with teams to enhance overall process efficiencies and managing capital projects related to equipment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing engineering or related field.
- Five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience in engineering design, process engineering, and project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and MS Projects.
- Knowledge of lean tools, statistical tools, root cause analysis, and failure mode & effect analysis.
Preferred:
- Experience with AutoCAD and MiniTab.
- Working knowledge of financial spreadsheets and budgets.
