Summary
CRB is seeking an Entry-Level Process Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on the design and engineering of manufacturing facilities and equipment, supporting facility infrastructure and critical utility systems.
About the Role
As an Entry-Level Process Engineer, you will execute engineering calculations, support documentation of process design scope, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure a coordinated and complete design. You will also assist field installation teams and conduct construction site observations, working on various design levels including studies, conceptual design, and construction documentation.
About You
Required:
- ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical or bioprocess engineering.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in a design firm setting.
Preferred:
- Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations and developing discipline systems designs.
- Fundamental experience with chemistry/biochemistry.
- Fundamental experience with process modeling, material and energy balances, and basic sizing calculations.
- Fundamental experience with fluid mechanics, hydraulic modeling, and fundamental heat transfer.
- Strong communication skills and ability to participate in internal cross-discipline project team coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in engineering software applications including computer-aided drafting, process modeling, and calculation programs.
