About the Role

As a Process Engineer II, you will be responsible for applying safety concepts in process design, developing conceptual layouts, producing preliminary designs, and performing detail design calculations. You will check calculations for accuracy, assist in resolving design issues, consult with other disciplines, and perform fieldwork to gather data. The position requires participation in professional meetings and may involve travel within the tri-state area for client needs.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Biochemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
1 year of experience in chemical/biochemical process engineering.
1 year of knowledge in process safety and its application to design.
1 year of experience with CAD software including AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
1 year of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of hydraulic simulation software, such as AFT Fathom and Arrow.
Basic knowledge of relief device sizing calculations using software like iPrism.
Experience with virtual team skills and cross-divisional relationship development.
