About the Role
As a Process Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. Your daily tasks will include troubleshooting mechanical issues, reading blueprints, and promoting continuous process improvement. You will work on the 2nd shift, contributing to a culture that values work-life balance and employee wellness.
About You
Required:
- Working knowledge and thorough understanding of pneumatics, power transmissions, pumps, valves, and bearing application.
- Technical maintenance training.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical equipment issues.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and drawings.
- Accurate measuring ability.
- Ability to furnish personal tools as required on the Process Mechanic tool list.
- Demonstrated ability to promote continuous process improvement and LEAN principles.
Preferred:
- Sketching ability.
- Four years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience as a Maintenance Utility at McKee Foods.
- Hydraulics experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license.
- Electrical training at a technical school.
- Basic welding and fabrication.
- Basic machine shop.
