Summary
Hohman Plating is seeking a Process Technician (Chemical Coatings) to join their team in Dayton, OH. The role involves providing technical floor support, training, and process troubleshooting in the chemical coatings industry.
About the Role
As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting internal team members, improving production processes, leading corrective actions, developing test plans, and training new operators. You will also utilize problem-solving skills to address issues and ensure that production meets specifications and customer requirements.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years related experience & training.
- Demonstrated proficiency with problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Is / Is Not, and Pareto Diagrams.
- Ability to understand and comply with specifications, prints, and other technical documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
Preferred:
- Results-oriented with process ownership commitment and ability to prioritize.
- Experience in developing and implementing test plans and procedures.
