Summary
CEVA Logistics is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to join their team in Piscataway, NJ. The role involves managing procurement for high volume areas including Warehouse consumables and IT.
About the Role
As a Procurement Category Manager, you will evaluate and source new national, regional, and local sourcing programs, negotiate pricing, perform audits on maintenance expenditures, and manage tire national account programs. You will also enhance asset management, support business development efforts, establish strategic relationships, drive cost savings, ensure compliance with purchasing policies, and serve as the point of contact for internal customers and vendors.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of operational and procurement experience.
- Knowledge of high value negotiation and sourcing processes and methodologies.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field.
- Strong financial understanding and fundamental knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
