Summary
Equinix is seeking a Procurement, Global Repair and Maintenance Category Manager to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves developing and executing strategies for purchasing Data Center operations products and services globally.
About the Role
As the Procurement, Global Repair and Maintenance Category Manager, you will lead a global team managing mission critical support and maintenance contracts. Your responsibilities include identifying cost improvement opportunities, developing metrics for reliability and cost improvements, and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and service delivery. You will also create framework contracts and support strategic purchasing decisions.
About You
Required:
- Extensive experience in Facilities and Maintenance Services including Security, UPS, Switchgear, Thermal, Fire Systems, and Generators.
- 7+ years of related work experience in Data Centers / Mission Critical Environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Finance.
Preferred:
- Experience leading and managing complex global and regional mission critical contract negotiations.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
