Summary
USG Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Producer/Broker to join their team in a remote or hybrid capacity. The role involves engaging with independent Property and Casualty Retail Agents to solicit, underwrite, market, and secure coverage for business enterprises within the excess and surplus lines marketplace.
About the Role
As a Producer/Broker, you will develop a network of relationships with retail insurance agents, solicit new business through sales and marketing techniques, and build relationships with in-house binding and brokerage markets. You will assess accounts creatively, negotiate terms, and handle accounts of all sizes while demonstrating a professional, positive, team-oriented attitude. Additionally, you will travel to attend company-approved conferences and seminars to stay current on industry developments.
About You
Required:
- 3 years of experience in wholesale broker/MGA or carrier, preferably in excess & surplus lines.
- Strong knowledge and experience of property and casualty insurance including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures.
- P&C License required; E&S License preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Reader, and other Windows-based software applications.

- Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.
