Summary
Secant Group is seeking a Product Development Engineer I to join their team in Quakertown, PA. The role involves driving the design and development, validation, and commercialization of custom ordered textile components.
About the Role
As a Product Development Engineer I, you will lead and manage multiple projects for New Product Development, communicate with management and core team members about product development status, develop textile designs, facilitate manufacturing process transitions, and document all phases per the integrated product development process (IPDP). You will also author critical documents for product development and support business managers with technical inputs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in technical writing and use of statistical tools, including Minitab.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Interpersonal skills with proven ability to work in a team environment.
