Revelyst is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join their team in Irvine, CA. The role involves developing innovative hardgoods products for the Adventure Sports category, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely completion.
About the Role
As a Product Development Engineer, you will strive to create market-leading hardgoods products, collaborating closely with Marketing and Design teams. Your responsibilities include preparing project information, performing CAD work, creating functional prototypes, managing project documentation, conducting cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also visit vendor facilities to enhance product design and development.
About You
Required:
- 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years minimum consumer product development/engineering experience.
- Proficient in CAD, preferably Solidworks.
- Experience engineering injection molds and working with plastic parts.
Preferred:
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for MX, MTB, and Action Sports.
- Knowledge of plastics, textiles, and embellishment techniques.
