INVISTA is seeking a Product Development Intern to join their R&D team in Longview, TX. The role involves supporting polypropylene manufacturing processes and gaining hands-on experience in resin product development.
About the Role
As a Product Development Intern, you will work closely with experienced professionals to formulate, test, and optimize resin products. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the R&D team on new resin formulations, analyzing physical and chemical properties of resin samples, coordinating lab testing activities, and contributing to technical reports and presentations. This internship offers flexible scheduling options and is expected to last for 90 days with the possibility of extension.
About You
Required:
- College Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or any STEM discipline.
- Experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Experience applying polymer chemistry or material testing methods.
