About the Role
As a Product Development Manager, you will oversee upholstery product development activities, manage data systems, ensure project milestones are met, and foster relationships with suppliers. You will also conduct team meetings, track costs, and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commercial, Industrial, or Product Design or related field preferred.
- Ten or more years of furniture upholstery manufacturing experience.
- Strong experience in retail math, cost margin analysis, and supplier quotes.
- Proficient knowledge and ability to use computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of furniture, apparel, and/or soft goods construction, development & production.
- Ability to work well with others as well as independently under strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
