Solaris Paper, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Specialist to join their team in Moreno Valley, CA. The role involves overseeing and coordinating retail product concepts and securing sample approvals during the product development process.
About the Role
As a Product Development Specialist, you will handle various aspects of the product development process from conceptualization to post-launch analysis. Your responsibilities will include verifying product specifications, using the TOPS program for packaging analysis, documenting product specifications, and coordinating with vendors for product development. You will also attend trial runs and track new product launches to ensure deadlines are met.
About You
Required:
- An associate’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail product/packaging development.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and TOPS.
- Experience in flexible/offset/gravure packaging printing.
