Summary

About the Role
As a Product Engineer II, you will translate customer needs into technical requirements, collaborate with product and development engineers, advocate for users in product design, and develop test plans and automation for web services. You will also troubleshoot customer issues and contribute to the overall quality and stability of the software.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of industry experience in software testing or software development.
- Experience developing and implementing test plans and test automation for web services.
- Fundamental understanding of APIs and API design principles.
- Fundamental understanding of web services including REST and SOAP.
- Experience working with Python, Java, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related field.
Preferred:
- Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions.
- Demonstrable familiarity with Python or JavaScript for troubleshooting and software testing as well as web protocols and formats such as REST and JSON.
