Summary
Mueller Water Products is seeking a Product Engineer to join their team in Kimball, TN. The role involves configuring components to meet customer requirements for various water control devices.
About the Role
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for providing SolidWorks or Creo & AutoCAD drawings, generating Bill of Materials, and offering shop floor engineering support. You will also contribute to engineering projects, develop products according to industry specifications, and support product management through the product life cycle. Additionally, you will engage with customers regarding design changes and cost-saving ideas.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Outstanding PC/Systems knowledge including 2D and 3D CAD, PLM databases, and ERP software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Direct experience in valves, controls, or similar industrial products.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and JD Edwards ERP systems.
