Summary
Stainless is seeking a Product Engineer to join their Web Apps team in New York City or San Francisco. The role involves shaping the future of their self-serve product and developing features for their SDK Studio and public API.
About the Role
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for shipping large improvements to Stainless's SDK Studio, building LLM-powered tools, designing and building public APIs, and shaping the direction of the API Framework. You will engage with developers to understand their needs and contribute to documentation and website development.
About You
Required:
- Experience building modern web applications in Typescript and React.
- Strong design sensibility and sound architecture skills.
- Passion for developer experience and empathy for developers.
Preferred:
- Experience generating SDKs with Stainless.
- Familiarity with OpenAPI and the API tooling ecosystem.
- Experience in writing blogs, speaking at conferences, and engaging with developer communities.
- Experience designing and stewarding APIs at scale.
- Broad experience across multiple programming languages.
