States Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Product Manager to join their team in Dayton, MN. The role involves shaping product offerings and ensuring strategic alignment and commercial execution.
About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned product lines, lead efforts to understand customer needs and market trends, define product positioning and pricing strategy, and serve as a liaison between various departments. You will also develop business cases, monitor product performance, and ensure internal teams are equipped to effectively sell and support the product offerings.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of relevant product management, commercial strategy, or business development experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environment.
- 5+ years in managing new product development via a formal stage gate process.
- Strong financial literacy; able to model margins, ROI, and pricing scenarios.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across functions without formal authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with product development methodologies (Stage-Gate, Agile, etc.) and VOC tools.
- MBA or similar credential.
