About the Role
As a Production and Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for daily shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory counts, monitoring and replenishing inventory levels, creating kits for production work orders, and coordinating with various teams to resolve material shortages. You will also assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow and inventory accuracy.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or related manufacturing support roles.
- Experience kitting work orders and using pick lists in a production environment.
- Working knowledge of indented Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to company-specified limits).
- Familiarity with inventory management software or ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or simulation industry environment.
- Basic understanding of production workflows and material movement processes.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint.
