Summary
Havis, Inc. is seeking a Production Control & Logistics Manager to join their team in Warminster, PA. The role involves leading activities related to production planning, scheduling, material flow, inventory control, and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Production Control & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the Master Production Schedule, ensuring timely availability of materials, managing logistics and freight carriers, and collaborating with various departments to support production needs. You will also drive improvements in logistics and ensure compliance with customer shipping requirements.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5–8+ years of experience in production planning, materials management, logistics, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Access, Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central a plus).
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with SIOP/S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metric management.
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM or CSCP) a plus.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 30lbs, as well as long periods of sitting, walking and standing.
- Ability to travel up to 15% within a calendar year.
