Summary
Blue Origin is seeking a Production Control Specialist III to join their team in Merritt Island, FL. The role involves evaluating manufacturing schedules and coordinating the flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
About the Role
As a Production Control Specialist III, you will be responsible for managing the availability and controlled flow of materials, performing shop order release/closure in the MRP system, providing detailed status updates on work in progress, and coordinating interdepartmental activities. You will also monitor job flow through the production line, manage material transactions in the ERP system, and assist in cycle count reconciliations.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of supply chain experience.
- Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Experience with planning and/or scheduling activities.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office and ERP experience.
Preferred:
- Associate or bachelor's degree.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools such as LEAN and Six Sigma.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple decisions based on workload and priorities.
