Envases US Aluminum Division is seeking a Production Decorator Technician to join their team in Waco, TX. The role involves the setup, adjustment, and maintenance of coater decorator and all related equipment for beverage can printing.
About the Role
As a Production Decorator Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the activities of the printer/decorator for beverage cans, focusing on optimizing safety, quality, productivity, and spoilage. Your daily tasks will include operating and maintaining decorator equipment, making changeovers, checking materials for quality specifications, and communicating with various departments regarding production issues. You will also assist in training new operators and perform preventative maintenance inspections.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred:
- 2-3 years’ experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing operation
- 2 years’ experience in the Beverage Packaging Industry
- 2-3 years in setup/operating/adjusting printing decorators in a manufacturing environment
- Ink toning knowledge
- Experience overhauling maintenance operations with extensive troubleshooting skills
