Summary
Amentum is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to join their team in Sanford, NC. The role involves providing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Production Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining various production-related industrial systems, including CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and coolant systems. You will work alongside other skilled technicians, communicate effectively with management and customers, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your tasks will include performing preventive maintenance, responding to work orders, analyzing work problems, and providing technical guidance to less experienced personnel.
About You
Required:
- Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent and 2 years of experience, or High school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and kneeling.
Preferred:
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
