About the Role
As a Production Manager, you will manage day-to-day operations of the mattress manufacturing facility, supervise production teams, develop production schedules, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of plant or production management experience in mattress, furniture, or related manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proven record of improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety training.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with mattress manufacturing processes such as quilting, cutting, assembly, and packaging.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking software.
- TPM knowledge is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
