As a Production Mill Operator, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the mill, performing setups, roll changes, and operating mill controls. You will read and apply measurement tools, interpret specifications, and maintain production sheets. The role requires compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, and effective communication with management and peers regarding any issues.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to conform to safety and quality requirements.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
Preferred:
- Experience in a team-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate and able to use business systems effectively.
