About the Role
As a Production Prepress Manager, you will be responsible for managing automated file preparation pipelines, utilizing tools like Enfocus PitStop Server and Enfocus Switch for preflighting and file corrections, and ensuring layout accuracy for digital press workflows. You will also handle variable data jobs, manage templates, and ensure compliance with file security standards while driving automation and optimizing production processes.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years in digital prepress or variable data print workflow management.
- Expert knowledge of PDF workflows, preflighting, and tools like PitStop Server.
- Experience with Enfocus Switch or similar for automating tasks and data merges.
- Familiarity with digital imposition for toner/inkjet workflows.
- Excellent organization and task management with a focus on file accuracy.
Preferred:
- Experience using XMPie for variable template creation and data integration.
- Understanding of secure or regulated workflows, such as healthcare or elections.
- Familiarity with Print Service Layout or similar markup for digital press workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot automation scripts and XML structures.
- Exposure to digital press environments like Canon Prisma or Fiery.
