Loparex is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their team in Iowa City, IA. The role involves developing and executing the production master schedule for various Loparex sites in the Americas region, balancing demand and supply, and providing guidance during schedule conflicts.
About the Role
As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and monitoring the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of orders. You will balance operational efficiencies with customer requirements, manage disputes, facilitate schedule conflicts, and perform root-cause analysis on supply chain matters. Additionally, you will maintain planning parameters, prepare performance dashboards, and collaborate with buyers on raw material requirements.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain, Business or Technical field).
- Minimum of three years of scheduling experience, preferably for a manufacturing company.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Highly organized with an ability to lead small project teams.
Preferred:
- APICS or related professional certification.
- SAP experience (with IBP module) is highly desirable.
- Project management experience or exposure.
- Results oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to challenge the status quo.
