About the Role
About You
- BS/BA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, or a Technical degree.
- 7+ years Operations Leadership experience in food processing, grain or flour milling, dry food ingredient, animal feed, or pet food manufacturing.
- Prior Managerial or Supervisory experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on work ethic on the production floor.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
- Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement experience.
- Strong knowledge of governmental regulations such as OSHA, FDA, HACCP, and food safety agencies.
- Business acumen including understanding financial statements and managing budgets.
