Summary
SIG Group is seeking a Production Supervisor D Shift to join their team in Chilhowie, VA. The role involves leading a shift of ABM production personnel to maximize production, improve quality, and ensure safety.
About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for promoting workplace safety, communicating production issues, leading improvement activities, and supervising 15-40 employees. You will also perform administrative duties, support training, and develop the talents of ABM personnel to enhance effectiveness.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or G.E.D required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred.
- Previous knowledge of quality control procedures and good manufacturing practices.
Preferred:
- Supervision, lean and ISO experience.
- Experience in the plastics industry.
- Additional education in quality, safety, mechanical or electrical areas.
