Summary
United Protective Technologies is seeking a Production Technician to join their team in Locust, NC. The role involves working in a warehouse/industrial environment to handle and prepare metal parts.
About the Role
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for wiring, de-wiring, inspecting, cleaning, and packing metal parts. You will work independently after training, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform various tasks including operating coating room machines and handling shipping and receiving duties. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
About You
Required:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. (solo lift) and 50+ lbs. (team lift)
- Must have good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required
Preferred:
- Prior production and/or machine operating experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
