About the Role
As a Professional Employment Specialist, you will provide job coaching, assist with job placements, and support individuals with disabilities in connecting with meaningful community activities. Your daily tasks will include teaching independent living skills, providing transportation, and documenting services while promoting full inclusion in the community.
About You
Required:
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- Conduct themselves in a professional, responsible, and reliable manner.
- Have the motivation to learn new skills and help people.
- Demonstrate honesty and respect.
- Adhere to written support plans for clients.
- Possess a reliable automobile and be willing to transport clients.
- Possess a valid California Driver's license and provide a current driving record issued by the DMV.
- Provide proof of current car insurance.
Preferred:
- Prior training and/or experience in ABA.
- CPR/First Aid and ProAct certification to be completed after hire.
